无锡华能电缆有限公司是以钢芯铝绞线、绕组线主要产品的专业厂家。公司主要生产设备、工艺流程布局合理。公司拥有从铝杆连铸连轧到拉丝到绞线成套生产工艺装备，具有年生产圆线同心绞架空导线50000吨能力。
        公司地处长江三角洲经济发达地区，交通运输快捷、方便。公司占地面积55000平方米，现有总资产3.2亿元。2001年被评为“国家高新技术企业”，是国家“863计划”锡山新材料产业基地、国家火炬计划锡山新材料产业基地成员企业。
        自建公司以来，公司始终坚持“唯质是本”的宗旨，围绕“用户满意”这一目标实施各项管理。为强化产品质量的监控，公司不断完善产品检测的硬件配置及人员配置，工艺和产品质量控制专业人员18人，装备了全套检验和检测设备，架空导线所用的原材料和产成品的常规性能，在公司能全部进行检测，从而进一步对生产过程的产品质量进行有效的控制。
        自九四年以来，我们先后同国电西北电力设计院、上海电缆研究所、国电电力建设研究院、国电西南电力设计院、国电华东电力设计院、东南大学等科研院所建立了长期合作关系，这对推动公司的科技进步，提高企业整体素质发挥了重要作用。钢芯稀土铝绞线产品被国家科委列为“国家重点新产品”，2001年获科技部“重点高新技术企业”称号，2006年公司“国能”商标被授予“江苏省著名商标”，2007年公司获“无锡市质量管理奖”。

        我公司从九五年起就参与国家重点输变电工程项目的建设，产品覆盖全国各地，先后为全国电力用户提供了220000多吨架空导线。特别是在国家电网公司三峡500KV输电工程、国家电网公司首条南阳—荆门1000kV特高压输电线路提供83000多吨架空导线，获得用户的好评
        2002年，公司成功引进了国际上具有领先水平的长棒形瓷绝缘子产品，在国内装配并销售。该产品具有强度高、自洁性能优、免维护、免清洗、无老化、运行费用低等优点，能为客户节约大量的维护费用，大大提高了耐污等级，解决了目前国内输变电线路绝缘子配置低和耐污秽特性差的缺陷，提高了线路的安全性能，产品的优良性能得到了电力用户的广泛好评。随着企业自主研发能力的提升，采用国产原料，研发出拥有自主知识产权的长棒形瓷绝缘子，并于去年4月通过了江苏省科技成果鉴定，其研究和制造水平处于国内领先、国际先进水平，填补了国内空白，并申请了13项专利。目前国内无任何企业能生产，因而在市场上占绝对优势。
        公司长期来，坚持新产品开发。近年成功研发了复合材料型线架空导线、钢芯型线绞架空导线、软铝型线架空导线等产品。新产品的共同特点：载流量大、导电率得到提高、线路运行损耗降低、耐气候性能得到有效提升。

        Wuxi Huaneng Electric Cable Co., Ltd is specialized in Aluminum Conductor Steel-Reinforced (ACSR) and enameled wire. It has a proper layout for the main equipments and process flow and a complete set of equipments from casting and rolling of aluminum rod to drawing and stranding with its annual production capacity of round-wire concentric lay overhead conductor reaching 50000 tons.
        It is located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Developed Zone with a convenient transportation system and covers an area of 55000 m2 with its total asset amounting to RMB 320 million. In the year of 2001, our company was honored “the National New-High-technology Enterprise” by the Science Ministry and also the member enterprise of the Xishan New Material Industry Base of the State “836 Plan” and the State “Torch Plan”.
         Since its establishment, our company has been insisting on the policy“ Quality the basis” and the target “Customer’s satisfaction” in all management work all the time. In order to strengthen the product quality monitoring, our company constantly perfects its hardware configuration as well as the personnel deployment in the product examination――We have a complete set of inspection and testing equipments with 18 professional staff for the technology and quality control. The raw materials used for the overhead conductor and the general performances of the finished products can all be tested in our company, which can further control the product quality in the process of manufacturing.
        Since 1994, we have established a long-term cooperation with Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, Shanghai Electrical Cable Research Institute, Power Construction Research Institute of State Power Company, Southwest Electric Power Design Institute, East-china Electric Power Design Institute, Southeast University, etc, which has played a significant role in promoting the scientific & technical development of the company and improving the overall quality of the enterprise. The rare-earth steel-core aluminum conductor was rewarded the title of “New National Key Product” issued by the State Science Committee, and our company was honored “the Key New -high-technology Enterprise” by the Science Ministry in 2001, our trademark“Guoneng”was rewarded “the Famous Trademark in Jiangsu province” in 2006 and in 2007, our product was rewarded “Wuxi City Quality Management Award”.
        Our company strictly complies with ISO9001-2000 quality control system, and all staff take as their own duty the implementation of the quality principle“ Fine management, seeking facts with creation, quality the basis, and customer’s satisfaction”. And as a result, our product quality has been increasing steadily.
Since its establishment, our company has been abiding by the policy “quality the basis” and the target “Customer’s satisfaction” in all management work all the time, therefore, the whole process has been further enhanced from the raw materials purchasing, manufacturing, test to storage, sales, shipment and after-sales service.
        We have participated in the constructions of the national key transmission and transformation projects since 1995, supplying its products across China. It has provided over 220000 tons of overhead conducts for the national power customers. Especially, we have supplied more than 83000 tons of overhead conductors for the three-gorge 500KV power transmission project and the first Nanyang-Jinmen 1000 kV Super-high voltage transmission line of the State Grid Corporation, which has gained a good reputation from the customers.
        In 2002, our company succeeded in introducing the international advanced long-rod ceramic insulators, and the products can be assembled domestically for sales. Our insulators have the advantages such as high strength, excellent self-cleaning, free maintenance. Free rinsing, non-aging, low operation cost and so on, which can greatly reduce a large sum of maintenance cost for the customers, and greatly increase dirt resistance grade. It has removed the disadvantages such as the low configuration and poor dirt-resistance properties of the insulators in the domestic power transmission and transformation line, having improved the security of the line. The good performance of our product has also enjoyed a wide good reputation from the customers.   With the improvement in our self-development ability, we have adopted the domestic materials to develop and produce the long-rod ceramic insulators with our independent intellectual rights, which has passed the Jiangsu Science &Technology Results Assessment in April 2008. Its research and manufacturing level is at the leading level domestically and at the advanced level internationally, which has filled the domestic blankness in this respect. In addition, we have applied for 13 patents. So far, no any other company can produce such kind of products domestically. So with no doubt, our products are the most competitive in the market.
        For a long time, our company persists in the development of new products. And in recent years, we have succeeded in developing the composite-core formed-wire overhead conductor (HVCRC conductor), steel-core formed-wire overhead conductor, and soft-aluminum formed-wire overhead conductor. The common characters of our new products are: big current carrying, high conductivity, low line loss, good operation under bad weather.
